PDRN in Three Formats on One Spa Shelf: Ampoule, Serum and Cream, Tiered

Three. One ingredient arrived in this shipment in three packages: a 30 ml PDRN ampoule, a 50 ml PDRN serum and a 50 ml PDRN cream, all from the same brand, all in the same master-carton set. When a brand puts one ingredient into three formats and a buyer orders all three, the number itself is information. It says the buyer expects the ingredient to do three different jobs in three different places in the business, and it says the brand has already thought about which format belongs where.

This piece walks through the three boxes, how an operator tiers them across consultation, treatment room and take-home, and the one conversation that has to stay separate from the ingredient conversation.

Three boxes, three declarations

The smallest is the PDRN Firming Boosting Ampoule, 30 ml / 1.01 fl. oz., a white box with a burgundy panel that prints “REJUVENATING & ELASTICITY” on the front. The box leads with format words and lists no companion ingredients.

The middle format is the 360° Shot PDRN Active Serum, 50 ml / 1.69 fl. oz., in a lilac metallic box listing Hyper PDRN, Ribbon Collagen and Hydrolyzed Elastin. The third is the Expert Madeca Cream, Active Renew PDRN, 50 ml / 1.69 fl. oz., which lists TECA, PDRN and Panthenol and carries the brand’s two seals.

Two sizes, three formats, three companion-ingredient stories. Nothing on any of the boxes states a percentage of PDRN, and neither will this article.

Where a PDRN ampoule sits, and where the others do

Operators who run a retail case next to a treatment room tend to arrive at a similar tiering, and the packaging supports it.

  • Consultation. The ampoule. A 30 ml format is the object an esthetician picks up when a client asks what PDRN is. It is the smallest of the three, and the words on the box (Firming, Rejuvenating, Elasticity) are the words they are permitted to read aloud.
  • Treatment room. The 50 ml serum. The larger volume makes it the practical dispensing format inside a service, where the product is applied by a professional rather than sold.
  • Take-home. The 50 ml cream. A cream is the daily-use format a client already knows, and pairing PDRN with TECA and panthenol positions it as the everyday step rather than the event.

The tiering is not a rule and the brand does not print it. It is a way of reading the three formats so that each has a job, which is what stops three PDRN products from competing with each other on one shelf.

The ingredient conversation and the class conversation are two meetings

PDRN as an ingredient has a story a team can learn: what it is, why Korean brands have adopted it, what the companion ingredients on each box are meant to signal. We have written that story already and will not repeat it here; the ingredients post linked below covers it.

The class conversation is separate and shorter. In the United States, a PDRN topical sold and labeled as a cosmetic is a cosmetic. Injectable PDRN is a different, unapproved category, and nothing about the ampoule, serum or cream in this carton belongs to it. The trouble begins when a team lets the two conversations merge, so that a client who has read about injectable PDRN hears the take-home cream described in that vocabulary. Our earlier post on the professional-line regulatory class walks through that boundary in detail.

Read the category notes above as background, not as legal advice. How a product you sell or use in service is classified should be settled with qualified counsel.

Reading the companion ingredients as positioning

The companion ingredients on the two larger boxes tell you how the brand intends each format to be understood. The serum pairs Hyper PDRN with Ribbon Collagen and Hydrolyzed Elastin, which places it in a firmness conversation. The cream pairs PDRN with TECA, the brand’s standardized centella extract, and with panthenol, which places it in a comfort and daily-care conversation. The ampoule stands alone with its format words.

For a buyer this prevents duplication. If your case already holds a firmness-positioned serum from another brand, the 360° Shot overlaps it and the cream does not. If your team dispenses PDRN in service and wants a single retail follow-on, the cream is the natural one, and the PDRN ampoule becomes the consultation piece rather than a third retail line. Three formats ordered without this reading become three products fighting for one client; ordered with it, they become a sequence.

What the box lets the team say

The printed words are Firming, Rejuvenating and Elasticity on the PDRN ampoule, Active on the serum, and Active Renew on the cream. Those may be repeated as the words on the pack, and the ingredient names may be read out as listed. What may not be added is any verb that turns an appearance word into a treatment: nothing on this shelf repairs, regenerates or heals anything, and a client who mentions injectables is redirected to the class conversation above, promptly and without drama.

The practical test is simple. If a sentence about one of these three products cannot be pointed to on the carton or in the brand’s published record, it does not go on the shelf card and it does not get said at the chair.

One carton, three jobs, one intake

Luxmetics sources PDRN lines like this one, helps you decide whether one, two or all three formats belong in your business, reviews the packs and their claims before shipment so nothing on your shelf outruns the box, and arranges the freight. A PDRN ampoule that arrives with its serum and cream is already a shelf plan; our work is making sure it lands as one.
