Led by Haley Kang, K-Beauty Global Master. Behind our K-beauty curriculum is a named, verifiable Korean master. Haley Kang is a Doctor of Beauty Arts and an ISO/IEC 17024 designated educator who has taught professionals from Guangzhou to Beijing and lectured at more than seven Korean universities. She was named Grand Master of waxing at the 8th International Body Art Contest, and she directs the K-Beauty Professionals Federation from her own clinic in Nonhyeon, Seoul.

Our certification programs
Six tracks, each developed with a licensed Seoul academy and adapted for US scope-of-practice:
- Korean Facial Fundamentals — 16 hr. The sequence that underpins every other track: skin reading, the double cleanse performed as technique rather than as a product step, layering logic, and massage that is timed to the protocol instead of filling the hour.
- Head Spa Certification — 24 hr. Full scalp protocol from consultation and imaging through exfoliation, cleansing, treatment and finish, plus the room discipline — water temperature, draping, guest positioning — that separates a head spa from a shampoo.
- Scalp Diagnostic Mastery — 12 hr. Reading scalp imaging, describing what you see to a guest in language that is honest and not clinical, and matching findings to a protocol and a home routine.
- K-Beauty Retail Consultation — 8 hr. Turning a treatment into a routine the guest keeps. This is the track that moves retail attach rate, and it is the one most often skipped.
- Advanced Cleansing Protocols — 10 hr. Barrier-first sequencing, adjusting for sensitised and reactive skin, and the judgement calls around when not to proceed.
- Train-the-Trainer — 40 hr. Certifies an internal trainer so your standard survives turnover and you stop re-buying training at every hire.
What a certification is worth — and what it isn’t
Credential language in this industry is loose, so it is worth being precise about what you are buying. Three distinctions decide whether a certificate does anything for your business:
- A certificate records attendance. A certification records assessment. Ours require a practical exam and a written assessment, which is the only reason a pass means anything to a guest or to an insurer.
- Training does not expand scope of practice. No curriculum, Korean or otherwise, authorises your team to perform something your state licence does not permit. We build the menu inside your scope, and we confirm the boundary before the curriculum is set rather than after someone has been trained on a service they cannot legally offer.
- CEU acceptance is state by state. We confirm acceptance for your state before enrollment rather than after, because “recognised in most states” is not a useful answer when yours is the exception.
The practical test of a training investment is whether service times get shorter, results get more consistent between therapists, and rebooking rises. Those are measurable in your own booking software, and they are the numbers to hold us to.

- Train on-site — Korean master trainers come to your location — or your team flies to our Seoul partner academy.
- Certify — Practical exam and written assessment. Pass rate is the standard, not a participation trophy.
- Maintain — Quarterly refreshers, new protocol releases, and continuing education credit tracking.
Case study
A 14-esthetician team became K-beauty certified in one weekend.
A San Diego destination spa wanted every guest-facing therapist trained in Korean facial protocols before a summer relaunch. Two Seoul master trainers delivered the full curriculum in three days, with a 100% pass rate, and they relaunched the menu the following Monday. Results: 14 estheticians certified, 100% pass rate, 3 days on-site training.

Are the certifications recognized in the US?
Our certifications are issued in partnership with a Seoul-based licensed academy and are recognized as CEU credit in most US states. We confirm state-by-state acceptance before enrollment.
Do I need to travel to Korea?
No — our master trainers come to your location. Travel to our Seoul partner academy is optional.
What language is the training in?
Training is delivered bilingually, with English-language materials and interpretation throughout.
How long does a typical certification take?
Tracks range from 8 to 40 hours depending on the program.
