Turnkey K-beauty clinic & head spa buildouts.

Turnkey buildouts for K-beauty clinics and head spas — from concept and interior design to staffing, protocols, and grand opening strategy. Luxmetics runs the whole project on both sides of the Pacific, so you open with Korean technique, equipment, and product already in place.

Who this is for

  • New operators — Open a K-beauty head spa or aesthetic shop without assembling a dozen vendors yourself.
  • Existing spas expanding — Add a Korean head spa room or signature treatment suite to your current location.
  • Investors & multi-unit groups — Repeatable concepts and protocols you can roll out across locations.

What we handle

Concept and positioning, interior design and equipment layout, device and product sourcing, treatment menu and protocols, staffing and training, and grand-opening strategy — coordinated end-to-end, on both sides of the Pacific, so you are never the person translating a wiring diagram at midnight.

What a Korean head spa actually is

Most US operators first meet the head spa as a video: warm water, a reclined guest, an unhurried scalp massage. That is the visible part. What makes it a Korean head spa is that the treatment is built as a sequence with a diagnostic at the front of it, and the room, the plumbing and the staffing are designed around that sequence rather than borrowed from a shampoo bowl.

A typical Korean protocol runs through consultation and scalp imaging, a loosening and exfoliation step, cleansing under controlled-temperature water, a treatment step matched to what the imaging showed, massage through the scalp, neck and shoulders, and a finish with a take-home routine the guest can keep to. The guest experiences it as an hour of rest. Operationally it is a repeatable protocol with defined products at each step, which is the reason it holds price and rebooks.

Three consequences follow for anyone opening one, and all three are easier to design for than to retrofit:

  • The room is wet work. Dedicated plumbing, drainage, water temperature control and ventilation decide your layout. This is the item most often discovered late and it is the most expensive one to move.
  • The service is long. Treatments measured in a full hour or more change your chair count, your booking intervals and your staffing ratio. A head spa room is not a facial room with different equipment.
  • The menu is a ladder. An entry treatment that introduces the experience, a signature treatment that carries the margin, and a course or membership that turns a novelty into a habit.

What drives the budget

We do not quote a head spa from a template, because the same concept costs very different money in two different suites. These are the variables that actually move the number, in roughly the order they move it:

  1. The condition of the space. Whether you are adding a wet room to a shell or converting a space that already has plumbing in the right place is usually a larger swing than every device on the floor combined.
  2. Room count and buildout scope. Millwork, lighting, acoustic treatment and the finish level that your positioning implies.
  3. The device package. Diagnostic imaging, scalp and hair systems, and whether you are opening with the full protocol range or a focused menu you extend later.
  4. Opening product inventory — both back-bar and retail, since the take-home routine is part of the protocol.
  5. Training depth — how many therapists you certify, and whether you build an internal trainer so you are not re-buying training at every hire.
  6. Permits, licensing and lead times in your jurisdiction, which cost calendar more often than cash.

We build this as a line-item plan before anything is ordered, so the trade-offs are yours to make with the numbers in front of you.

Questions, answered

How long does a head spa opening take?
It is driven by your space and your local permitting far more than by anything sourced from Korea. Buildout and inspection generally set the critical path; device lead times and training are scheduled to land against it rather than the other way around.

Do I need a separate license to operate a head spa?
Scope of practice and facility licensing are set at state and sometimes city level, and they vary enough that we confirm the rules for your jurisdiction during the concept step. What a therapist may perform on a scalp, and under what supervision, is a question to settle before the menu is written, not after.

Can I add a head spa room to my existing salon or spa?
This is the most common version of the project. The determining factor is almost always whether water and drainage can reach the room you have in mind at an acceptable cost.

Do I have to use Korean products and devices?
The protocol and the product line are designed together, so we open with the WSD range because we can stand behind the whole sequence and keep you supplied. Where you already have equipment worth keeping, we build the menu around it.

What happens after opening?
Reorder cycles for back-bar and retail, protocol updates as the line develops, and additional certification as you hire. The point of a field-tested playbook is that it keeps working after the launch photos.
